Since high school I have been a big fan of the Deftones. I finally saw them live in 2011 here in Dallas, TX. They put the best show I have ever seen, and when I say “the best”, I mean the sound mix was great. Their live performance sounded just like the CD. The kick and drums were tight and the levels were amazing. I have been to many concerts before but the live sound quality was not the same as the CD. These guys killed it. So when I heard that Chino had a side project called CROSSES, I immediately googled them and found their site. The sound is totally different from the Deftones and Chino’s voice definitely kills it once again. Here is a video posted on their site from their new song called “This is a Trick.”
