I had the pleasure of hiring Meshali Mitchell to do Laura’s maternity shoot. Meshali is one of the best photographers in the Dallas metroplex. Her work has inspired me to become a better photographer. A few months ago I had posted her on my site as Photographer of the Week. I still can’t believe she said yes to us. What an eventful day it was. I had asked Meshali if I could bring along my new Canon 5D Mark II and document the event. I promised her I would not get in the way. But Meshali is so sweet that she even gave me a few pointers during the shoot. Laura and I can’t wait to see how cool the pictures turn out. Meshali’s editing is by far one of the best that I have seen in the Dallas area.
Now for my wife and I, we are SOOO excited. We can’t wait to meet Truett Brooklyn in 9 more weeks. He is due July 3rd. Isn’t Laura gorgeous as a prego? She doesn’t even look pregnant. It’s such an honor to be her husband and best friend. She is going to make the best mom ever.
