horchata-rice-mexico-2

Before you start thinking about Vampire Weekend, this musing is about the popular drink from South America. I love Horchata and it’s the only thing I order when I eat at a taqueria. Horchata is made from the tubers of the nut sedge plant in Spain and made from rice in Mexico. Horchata has a white, milky appearance which is served ice cold. Interested? Good because you can find the recipe here.
